Memoir

I used to be primarily a poet. Not only was I primarily a poet, I had every intention of remaining one. However, I started writing essays, and eventually realized I was working on a memoir.

So, it is with sadness that I admit I am no longer really a poet. (I hardly ever write poems anymore.) Fortunately, I love working in creative nonfiction. This genre feels like home to me.
